What you will learn....
Join us at bePractical Ltd, where our experienced instructor, Rachel, will guide you through the basics of using a mitre saw. You’ll gain the confidence to tackle your own carpentry projects, including crafting a bespoke shelf.
- ILearn the essential parts of a Mitre Saw, and how to get the best out it.
- IDiscover the Essentials of Safe Operation
- IPractise techiniques to make different kinds of cross, bevel, mitre & compound cuts - opening up opportunities for making picture frames, Skirting boards, and Carpentry trim work.

As you learn these techniques, you will also be working on a custom project piece (as seen above) totake home at the end of the course – your own creation, built from scratch!
Our classes are run in a friendly and supportive environment, designed to help you build confidence and feel empowered to use the Mitre Saw on your own.

All tools, materials, paints and oils provided.

What we provide
We will provide all materials, tools etc. However, if you want to bring along your own tools, ongoing projects etc. then feel free to do so.
We also have hot drinks – tea, coffee etc. Feel free to bring your own additional refreshments, if you want to.
What should you bring
We recommend wearing old clothing, and sturdy shoes.
If you would like to bring your own PPE (Personal Protectve Equipment), please feel free to do so. We will provide PPE, but we know that some people would prefer to use their own. (We recommend that you mark them up with your names, so that you can identify them)
