The aim of this practical DIY course is to teach you how your home works, and give you the confidence to assess and deal with emergency situations quickly & safely.

  • Would you like to know what to do if you suddenly discover a leak?
  • Would you like to be able to deal with suddenly losing your electrical supply?
  • Would you like to feel capable of dealing with an emergency yourself?
  • Would you like to feel more confident when dealing with Tradespeople, & know the kinds of questions to ask them?
  • Would you like to build your DIY confidence?

If you would like to do any or all of those things, then this half day DIY course might be for you.

Starting with the basics, we will help you learn how your house works & teach you some tips and tricks for dealing with common problems.

We’ll help you assess when you can deal with a practical problem yourself, and know when it is time to bring in the professionals. And we’ll teach you how to talk to those professionals.

This DIY course is all about building your DIY & practical confidence.

Important Information

We will provide you with the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), however, we would strongly recommend that you wear old clothes and strong shoes for the session. This is a practical, hands-on DIY course.
