We’re running a series of new DIY Courses aimed at the budding DIY Carpenter. The courses will run over 3 weeks. There are lots of new skills to learn. We want to give you the opportunity to feel confident in all the new techniques.

Maybe you’ve been watching Upcycling videos on YouTube, and wish you had the skills to have a go yourself.

Perhaps you want to start making a few pieces at home, and just want to learn how to use some power tools to make the job a bit easier.

Our courses will introduce you to new power tools, and teach you the skills and knowledge to use them safely and effectively.

At the end of the 3-week session, not only will you be taking home a piece that you have made yourself, you will also be full of DIY Confidence and Knowledge, to start tackling a whole range of new prjects at home.

Hello! I am Rachel and I am passionate about introducing carpentry to both beginners and people wanting to improve their woodworking skills.

My classes are taught in a patient and friendly way as I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where everyone feels comfortable exploring their creativity. Whether you are new to woodworking or looking to refine your abilities, I make sure each student progresses at their own pace, mastering the fundamentals while discovering the joy of creating something with their own hands.

My own enthusiasm for woodwork started as a child where I was shown the tools by my dad in his workshop. My early memories are of creating projects together, and I’ve since gone on to work in furniture restoration, home improvements and van conversions.
