This Bitesize DIY Course introduces you to using a Cordless Drill.

We find that may people are worried about using a drill.

  • Maybe you feel that your drill is a bit too heavy to use?
  • Perhaps you are worried about drilling in the wrong place
  • It could be that you have watched loads of YouTube videos, which make it look easy, but when you tried, it didn't feel anything like you expected.

This short “Bitesize DIY” Course could be just for you.

What you will learn….

  • How a Drill actually works
  • How to put a Drill together
  • Which Drill bit to use and why
  • Where it is safe to drill
  • Above all, you will build your self-confidence & will want to go home and get started on your own DIY projects.

At bePractical DIY, we are here to guide you through learning DIY skills,  demystifying it and equipping you with the essential know-how to tackle DIY tasks confidently in your own home.

What we provide……

We will provide all materials, tools etc. However, if you want to bring along your own tools, ongoing projects etc. then feel free to do so.

We also have hot drinks – tea, coffee etc. Feel free to bring your own additional refreshments, if you want to.

What should you bring……

We recommend wearing old clothing, and sturdy shoes.
If you would like to bring your own PPE (Personal Protectve Equipment), please feel free to do so. We will proide PPE, but we know that some people would prefer to use their own. (We recommend that you mark them up with your names, so that you can identify them)

Drilling 101 is designed for Complete DIY Beginners. From here you will be able to go anywhere.
