Women-only DIY Clubs

Our Women-only DIY Clubs are held on Wednesday evenings

They provide a safe space for women to learn DIY skills. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Our DIY Clubs are small, (maximum of 4 people) with plenty of space to learn practical skills, and DIY tips and tricks, at your own pace, and in your own way.

Over the 4-week term, you will get an all-round grounding in essential DIY skills, which will give you the confidence to tackle some DIY projects at home.

Sessions will start at 6.30pm, but the format is very relaxed, so feel free to turn up when you are ready. We aim to finish the sessions between 8.30 and 9pm.

We have a wide-range of tools, and lots of space to practise in. If there is something that you specifically want to cover, we’re very happy to head off on tangents and cover issues that you are experiencing at home.

Find bePractical DIY Workshop

Access to the the bePractical DIY Workshop is via the front door, in the  Brislington Hill parade of shops. The shop has been been cunningly hidden behind the large  scaffolding installation currently surrounding Gilton House. Head towards St Peter’s Hospice Shop, and you will see  bePractical DIY Workshop just on the left, behind the scaffolding.
