Fed up with ugly pipes or awkward corners spoiling the look of your home? Our Boxing-In Pipes Course is here to help! This practical, beginner-friendly workshop will show you exactly how to box pipes in, hide unsightly bits, and create a smart, tidy finish. No previous DIY experience needed.

Which Tools will we use?

You’ll get hands-on with a range of cutting tools, including jigsaws, circular saws, and hand saws,perfect for tackling those boxing-in and framework projects with confidence. We’ll cover how to use cordless drills and drivers, plus you’ll learn how to cut neat holes using holesaws and different drill bits. By the end, you’ll know which tool to choose, how to use it safely, and have the skills to create tidy, professional-looking boxing every time.

Is this course for Complete Beginners?

We tailor our courses for complete beginners. If you have never picked up a power tool before, or never sawed a piece of wood, we recommend that you try our Nailing it! Beginners DIY Course first. That way you’ll build confidence with the basics and get the most out of this boxing-in course.

Is this course suitable for women?

Definitely. bePractical DIY specialises in empowering women to tackle home projects with confidence. However, we encourage anyone to sign up to our DIY courses, regardless of gender. We provide a relaxed, supportive space for anyone to learn hands-on practical skills.

Do I need to buy any tools or materials before attending?

No. All tools and materials are provided for the course, including jigsaws, circular saws and hand tools. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn. If you’d like to bring your own tools to try out, you’re welcome to do so.

How do I book, and where are you based?

You can book online via our bePractical DIY Booking Page.  We’re based in Brislington, Bristol, with small group classes so you get lots of personal attention and time to practise.

How much does the Course cost?

The cost for this full-day boxing-in course is £130 per person. The price includes use of all tools and materials. We also provide tea, coffee and biscuits, and you’re welcome to bring your own refreshments.
