Join us at bePractical DIY for our half-day Confidence with Power Tools DIY course, designed for improving DIYers looking to master the safe and confident use of Power Tools.

What you will learn….

Are you ready to unleash your DIY potential? Learn how to work with Jigsaws, Circular Saws, and Multi-tools.

Mastering these power tools will open up a world of exciting projects for you to tackle. Our DIY Course focuses on teaching you how to use Powered Cutting Tools with confidence.

There are many different types of powered cutting tools, out there. For the  keen DIYer we want to build your confidence in using the most versatile tools We will concentrate on the tools which we think the DIYer is most likely to use.

Cordless Jigsaws

Cordless Circular Saws

Cordless Multi-tools

You will learn how to use each of the tools safely & confidently. We will incorporate some project-based activities, so that you learn how to cut & scribe accurately.

By the end of our Confidence with Power Tools DIY course, you will be planning so many new DIY projects at home.

Numbers are limited for safety reasons.

What we provide……

We will provide all materials, tools etc. However, if you want to bring along your own tools, ongoing projects etc. then feel free to do so.

We also have hot drinks – tea, coffee etc. Feel free to bring your own additional refreshments, if you want to.

What should you bring……

We recommend wearing old clothing, and sturdy shoes.
If you would like to bring your own PPE (Personal Protectve Equipment), please feel free to do so. We will proide PPE, but we know that some people would prefer to use their own. (We recommend that you mark them up with your names, so that you can identify them)

Access to the the bePractical DIY Workshop is via the front door, in the  Brislington Hill parade of shops. The shop has been been cunningly hidden behind the large  scaffolding installation currently surrounding Gilton House. Head towards St Peter’s Hospice Shop, and you will see  bePractical DIY Workshop just on the left, behind the scaffolding.
