Went on the ' Nailing it' course last week.

I did the beginners basic DIY course and as a complete beginner I really appreciated Caroline's clear and patient teaching methods.  She really went back to basics and gave some great tips on tools to purchase and techniques to help with basic household DIY. I absolutely loved the ‘Nailing It’ course. At the age of 60 I was finally shown how to hammer, saw and drill effectively. It was a revelation and truly empowering- I had just assumed I was no good at this sort of thing. And taking out a screw with an electric screwdriver was unexpectedly thrilling! I have just completed the 4week beginners course on weds evenings. Caroline is an amazing teacher. Her calm and friendly manner and clear instruction makes you feel you can finally achieve those abandoned projects around the house! I will definitely be booking on to more courses. My friend and I took the DIY - Nailing It! course for beginners, which was a really great introduction to the basics of DIY! From explaining the different types of screwdrivers to showing us how to hand saw and drill holes, Caroline was very friendly and answered all our questions patiently.

I attended the BePractical Nailing It! Workshop to learn the fundamentals of DIY. I learnt so much from Caroline and feel so much more confident to do some DIY, putting the skills I learnt into practice.
I also feel like I know enough that I can go into a DIY store and not feel totally bamboozled - I know what to get/ask for!
My partner also came with me and has gone from having absolutely no interest in DIY to wanting to do a project for fun because he enjoyed it so much!
Caroline is a fantastic teacher, making us all feel included, and her enthusiasm comes through making the course engaging and fun. Thanks so much!

I attended the Nailing It Beginner's DIY course yesterday and really enjoyed it. It gave me confidence in understanding which tools I really need and which ones I can now get rid of from the collection I have as well as understanding how to hammer, drill and saw. I recently attended two classes as I was fed up with not feeling confident enough to try simple DIY tasks myself. I booked onto 'Nailing it' and 'Drill down into drilling'.
